We are extremely proud of the facilities we have been able to provide to both local children and visitors. No matter what the season, the equipment is always popular come rain or shine!

Offering a large open space where children can be active, use their imaginations and build social skills, Caister’s play area never fails to deliver. Encouraging physical activity, balancing, climbing, exercising and swinging which are essential to promoting physical health, growth and development. With activity boards and musical instruments to encourage fine motor skills alongside the benefits of just being outside in the fresh air, it’s easy to see why it is so popular amongst children and adults alike.

What about the emotional and social elements too – play parks are often one of the first environments in which children learn to engage with their peers – shared play, social skills, empathy and conflict resolution. Whether it’s waiting their turn, sharing or working together towards a shared goal, it’s hard to ignore the wonderful benefits of environments such as this.

Trim Trail

Installed in 2020, the Trim Trail is utilised by all ages. A fantastic, free opportunity to get the heart rate up and enjoy the view across the field listening to the waves crashing on the beach.

Zip Wire

Installed in 2022, the zip wire is a hit amongst Caister’s children (and some adults too) those visiting too. A great addition to the field for the trill seekers amongst us.

Play Castle

Installed in 2023, the Castle was just the beginning of what was set to become a real hive of activity amongst youngsters. With a slide, wobbly bridge, fire pole and climbing wall, children couldn’t wait to try it out.

Wooden Play Park

2024 saw the rest of the much awaited play park arrive. With it’s own boat, rope swing, levitator and accessible roundabout, it is filled with children’s laughter and excitement daily.
