Welcome to Caister-On-Sea Parish Council

Caister-on-Sea is an English civil parish within the district of Great Yarmouth and the county of Norfolk.

Caister-on-Sea Parish Council consists of 16 elected and/or co-opted representatives who seek to promote and encourage true community spirit within the village, as well as representing and advocating on behalf of the village.

The Council meets monthly on the first Monday of the month (this can be subject to change so please visit the Meetings page for up to date information) to discuss local issues and projects - parishioner attendance and participation is encouraged at our meetings.

Our village offers a unique blend of history, natural beauty, and entertainment. Visitors can explore the stunning Norfolk Broads, enjoy the pristine beaches, enjoy a relaxing coffee, visit the country's only independent Lifeboat Service and explore the village's very first Sensory Garden.

The area is also steeped in history, with landmarks like Caister Water Tower and the tragic yet inspiring story of the Caister lifeboat disaster.

Whether you're interested in history, nature, or family-friendly activities, Caister-on-Sea has something for everyone - you may even catch a glimpse of a seal or two on the beach!
