Caister Volunteer Lifeboat Service
Caister Lifeboat is an independent charity and was Britain’s first independent lifeboat service. It’s role is, and always has been, to save lives at sea and along the coastline of Norfolk and Suffolk.
Located at the top of Beach Road in Caister, Caister Lifeboat Service HQ welcomes visitors to explore it’s facilities. With a shop, cafe, toilets, car parking and beach access, visitors of all ages are most welcome.
For more information, including opening times, on visiting the Lifeboat Centre and it’s interactive Museum, The Caister Lifeboat Experience, head over to Caister Lifeboat’s web page

Caister-On-Sea Parish Council and it’s residents are extremely proud of it’s independent lifeboat service and encourage visitors and locals alike to visit.
