Flooding

In the event of a flood please call 0344 800 8013 or head to the Norfolk County Council ‘report a flood’ page.

Highways

Report a highways problem to Norfolk County Council.

Love Clean Streets

An app based reporting system (you can also report online if preferred) for issues such as graffiti, fly-tipping or fly-posting, potholes, abandoned cars, dog mess, and many other categories. When you make a report you can choose from a list of categories relevant to your area. Visit the website to download the app or report online.

Rubbish Collections

If your bin has been missed, please report it online or call 01493 801750.  Please note you cannot report a bin as missed until the day after missed collection. You can also find your bin collection day.

Street lights

Street lights in the borough are owned by either Great Yarmouth Borough Council or Norfolk County Council. In order to identify which authority you need to report a street light problem please check the following:

• Great Yarmouth Borough Council street lighting columns are generally coloured black (but might be unpainted), no more than 6m in height and where there is a maintenance number it will have a suffix of ‘R’ (for example, “326R”. Report a problem with a GYBC street light via the Love Clean Streets website.
• Norfolk County Council lighting columns are generally taller, 6m to 12m in height, and will have a yellow sticker attached with a reference number alongside the NCC and Amey logos. Report a problem with an NCC street light here.
